What is the slope of the line represented by the equation y=7?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I NEED help guys. i have no idea how to do slope. It wouldn't ever stick with me!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have a line of y = 7 and any time you have an equation where y equals a number, you are going to have a horizontal line. In every horizontal line, the slope is 0.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 0 is the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0 is the slope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What the heck haha so if it says y= anything then the slope is 0

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

y=0x+7 is your equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just need the slope tho

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

its 0

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

(the number in front of x is always your slope)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yall wanna help on some more?
