How would you write 0.3y + 1.2 = –0.4x in standard form?

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

ax+by=c so you need to get x and y on the same side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do u do it

OpenStudy (hockeychick23):

ok so 0.3y + 1.2 = –0.4x first subtract 0.3y from both sides so now you have: 1.2= -0.4x-0.3y
