Can you answer this question for me please How do foreshadowing clues help the reader infer the plot's resolution?

Well that seems to be a bit easy, foreshadowing clues/hints the reader of what might be the outcome, and the outcome(or the end) is always the resolution! if the reader can use the clues to find the outcome, the reader can use the foreshadowing clues to find the resolution...hoped that helped(even though I have a bit chance of mistaking....I am not a Mr.Know It All...)
