Yes. Let the QH finish helping the user. That's what they're for. Plus, they'll get paid and rated.

I don't know, once you start something you should finish it.

The qualified helpers are there to help them, but others are also there to participate. Just because you're not a qualified helper and you've already helped him some doesn't mean you should hand it over to the QH.

No, when you start something, you should be able to finish it, no matter what they say.

It's possible that the QH is greedy for money or something, not saying that he is though.

Because if a normal user answers a QH question - and there is no QH there - then they basically threw some moolah out the door when they coulda asked the question for free and stuff

i agree that if we are going to have a paid section and a free section, then they need to be kept seperate.

Yeah, but I think the problem with that is that OS doesn't want someone to ask a QH question when no QH are online..if other users can answer it, there's still a possibility that it will be answered.

@amistre64 I think QH are trained to make sure their solution is correct. However if it does occur, you should obviously point out the correct answer and why the QH is incorrect.

oh, and none of this is aimed at Dan, its just a general observation on my part. Dan just happened to be the one that came to the question i was on.

As far as I know, QHs have not yet received any official training...
If a QH answers a question wrong, other users are allowed to interject
if a user would like a refund, some of the people in charge will review and consider the situation.

any user is allowed to participate in a QH question, QHs have been told to not interfere if another QH is already helping. If you are helping then a QH takes on the rest of the question, I believe it would be courteous (although no rule states it) that the QH owes the previous helper a medal :)

If a non QH does answer the question properly, of course they should receive the credit. But they would not be receiving any OwlBucks for answering.

if QH jumps in the QH question while nonQH is helping, should let them have in order to enforce the idea that our QHs are competent and so the user feels like they are getting most out of their money spend as being helped by an actual QH
