What is the difference between certain and impossible events?

An impossible even is something that WILL NOT happen, while a certain even is something that WILL happen no matter what.

Impossible event: Matt reaches into a bag full of red marbles with his eyes closed. What are the odds of him pulling out a blue marble?

Certain event: Matt reaches into a bag full of red marbles with his eyes closed. What are the odds of him pulling out a red marble?
