Anyway, I think it's too late to get rid of the chats..because they can also raise your SmartScore..it'll probably ruin the whole system..just like deleting accounts.

Yeah, how much do they raise it by? Yes, not much. The chats might just be the most miniscule way to raise your Teamwork. Also, deleting doesn't have to be erasing the previous ss right? Just leave what has happened and cancel out a feature, that's all.

A person becomes subscribed to a chat when they study the subject. Just because they are subscribed to the chat does not mean they are reading it. So this chat list would be thousands of people in math when only a few dozen are reading it.

Next problem: There are people that open a chat but go to a different tab or do not pay attention to it. So even limiting it to people with the chat tab open is not useful.

Then there are the people that intend to lurk and don't want to reply.

Finally, chat is a low priority. It is not the focus of the site. It is more likely to be removed than improved.
