***WILL MEDAL*** Simplify and Identify the domain. -4/4x+8*5(x+3)/x^2-9 A. -5/(x+2)(x-3),(x does not = -2,3) B. -5/(x+2)(x-3), (x does not = -3, -2,3) C. -5/(x+2)(x-3), (x does not = 3) D. -1/8x^2, (x does not = -3, -2,3)

@amistre64

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think its A or C

OpenStudy (amistre64):

-4/(4x+8) * 5(x+3)/(x^2-9) now, the domain doesnt change just because we simplify out some "common factors". the domain is defined by the original setup, not its simplification.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

A and C are not defining the correct domain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it D?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

your guessing now? or was A and C a guess as well? what is your simplificaton?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the error in A and C was the domain ... which is why i pointed it out. D is no where like A or C ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My mom says its A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A,B,C have the correct simplification I think the domain is all x except x=0 can't divide by zero
