What kept nearly an entire generation of Chinese students from receiving an education? Chinese Civil War Great Leap Forward Cultural Revolution Tiananmen Square demonstrations
Tiananmen Square Demonstration
Tienanmen was a revolt against the system. It didn't even happen a generation ago. Strike off D
Thanks @wwhitlock I didn't think it was D
ruling it was literally the King and then the Priests heck the King was even made to ceremonially cut his _____ as a blood sacrifice not even joking
oops wrong paste
@crazzydave I hate when that happens
The Cultural Revolution was an attempt to rid the country of everything of all influences that might cause the people to question the Party's authority. College professors and teachers were among the first to go to "re-education camps." Nothing like getting shipped to a far off province and being forced to do agricultural labor for months or years to get those silly ideas about education out of your system
Much appreciated!
