|dw:1430274152180:dw| so you have to determine the contribution from the wind along the y-axis and the x-component is irrelevant here. you also have to take into account the frictional force acting south ( i forgot to include it in the diagram). Find the net acceleration then use it with the initial velocity in a kinematic equaiton
