So a while back... I had an idea for my daughters name... I want her name to make her proud so Im writing a book about a girl with my future daughters name in hopes that one day it will be known enough that my daughter loves her name. Her name is: Meyiya - (me-yi-ya) Here is the story so far: The Legend of Meyiya - The Untold Beginning Not to long ago in the heart of Africa there once was a small village called Teeyoku (Tea-yo-coo) on this night a baby girl was born. She was born to Miyiko (Me-yi-co) and Jundinii (Wa-un-di-knee) who have longed for a child since they first wed. Every night they would beg and plea with Allah to give to them the gift of a healthy baby girl, Whom they would give all they could and cherish above all other. Allah being as merciful as Allah is, gave them there healthy baby girl but at a price that had to be payed. The baby girl would die on her twenty fifth birthday and become Allah's warrior. They agreed to this as payment for the great gift they were given not understanding the full price they would one day have to pay. So pleased were they with there baby girl they named her Meyiya (Mi-yi-ya) which means "gift from god" she had golden blonde Jerry curls with the most beautiful tan skin you would ever see, Her eyes were like that of golden silk with each intricate weave of her golden yellow eyes being that of perfection. Her voice like a gentle summer breeze. She is truly a gift from above said Miyiko, Jundinii nodded in order to express is pleasure with the gift Allah had given them. As the years passed Meyiya got older and more beautiful but Teeyoku and Miyiko knew what would soon draw near. Meyiya (now two) unaware that her parents continue grow weary of the up and coming future they know they cannot avoid. Chapter 2: Meyiya Speaks "The Truth" Meyiya her mother called Meyiya got off the dirt ground that made up most of there dry and barren backyard. She then proceeded to get up and walk to the kitchen where her mother was preparing Mi"ola' (Mi"ola' is a traditional wealthy African dish consisting of grilled gazel smoked in a spice packed sauce) There you are Meyiya her mother shouted I was worried sick about you. She then proceeded to sigh loudly and nod her head ok Meyiya come here he mother said before picking Meyiya up and placing her in her booster seat that allowed her to eat with out a high chair. Meyiya giggled and cooed at her mother served her dinner. Just then Meyiya's father came in to the kitchen he proceeded to take off his hat and place it on the hat rack closest to the kitchens back door. Hi my beautiful baby girl said Meyiya's father before kissing her on her head and sitting down. So whats for dinner? Jundinii asked with a loud chuckle. I made your favorite she said while serving Meyiya. Jundinii chuckled and asked so Meyiya how was your day? Good father how was yours Meyiya responded. Her mother dropped the dish which shattered into pieces and Jundinii gasped. Me- Me- Meyiya you can speak? Jundinii asked. Yes father I can speak Meyiya responded. How in the name of the great mercyful Allah can you speak?! whispered Meyiya's mother. Meyiya the turned her attention to her mother. I am a direct child of Allah I can do much more than speak mother I can read, write, sing, play, climb, run and so much more mother! Said Meyiya. Meyiya her mother gasped you are not a child of mine you are something more than just a girl said Meyiya's mother. You are destined to die on your twenty fourth birthday said her mother. I know mother I was already told of the plans mother said Meyiya. "crying sounds" Meyiya's mother. Do not fret mother only my body will perish my soul will live on forever and ever. Chapter 3: Gold Touch Meyiya eager to show what she was capable of to her parents got up. Look mother and father observe the power of Allah's warrior said Meyiya. Just then her skin began to give off a gold glow and her eyes gleamed and she touched the left over Mi"ola' and it turned to gold. Solid gold Miyiya's mother yelled. Meyiya nodded and said again observe the power of Allah's warrior this time she touched the garments she was wearing and her parents watched as Meyiya touched the tip of her dress and it turned to gold. Her dressed was transformed almost like it was replaced by lone similar but made of gold thread. Now that I have proven to you I am more then human may you two please stop treating me like a child? stated Meyiya. Meyiyas parents now astounded by what a wonderful gift Allah had given to Meyiya dropped to there knees and began to pray. Meyiya watched and paid no attention to her skin as it returned to its non glowing natural state. Her eyes then began to dull and she was calm almost like a weight had been lifted from her shoulders. Meyiya smiled, Now then mother what should we do tonight after dinner? Meyiya asked. I was thinking about star gazing said Meyiya's mother. What do you think dear? Meyiyas mother asked Meyiya's father. He nodded and Meyiya quickly ran outside and laid down flat in the yard. He parents followed her and did the same. Meyiya began to drift to sleep along with her parents knowing that Allah would protect them as the slept. Meyiya awoke the next morning. She reached her arms out and stretched then proceeded to yawn. Her parents whom feel asleep right next to her the night before were still not awake there they lay next to her still asleep peacefully dreaming of happy and beautiful things. Meyiya cuddled up next to her mom carefully doing so to insure she would not wake her. Then Meyiya closed her eyes and drifted back to sleep. Chapter 4: Tejhuo (tie-jo) The next morning Meyiya and her family awoke to a loud earthquake like sound that they feared because they have never heard before. It sounded like a hundred troops trampling the ground before there feet. They all rushed inside there house and locked all the doors and windows and awaited each others return except Meyiya who opened the door and stepped out to see what all of this ruckus was. After the smoke and dirt that surrounded her cleared a young man and an even younger boy both on large white horses stood before her. The older of the two young men looked at Meyiya with his big blue eyes that resembled the ocean with its ever changing scenery that depended on how the light hits the waves. She smiled and greeted the young men. The man chuckled a bit the proceeded. Young girl where are thyne parents? I am looking for the child they raise that might go by thyne name of Meyiya do you know where they live? asked the older of the two young men. She whom was fascinated with the cute boy her age whom sat atop the white horse before her. I am Meyiya what is it that you seek? asked Meyiya both young men bowed to her. Its a great pleasure to be in your presence Meyiya, I am the royal guard of Tejhuo the prince of "Aquariua" said the older of the two young men. What might I call you? Meyiya asked him. My name Mrs. Meyiya is Cauli (call-u-e) she nodded. Mother. father. Come out here all is safe and well! Hollered Meyiya. both of her parents approached with caution Meyiya introduced her parents to both young men. Why have you come seeking me? asked Meyiya. Well you see Meyiya you are that of godly powers as is Tejhuo. We were hoping you would wed him not now of course but one day. She nodded and happily agreed she looked at Tejuo and he smiled. She invited both of them in but they declined but asked if Meyiya would like to accompany them along with her parents to Aquariua? She nodded and ran along with her parents to pack there things for a few nights stay. When they returned they found three white horses and a sign that read: "We went back to Aquariua, These horses know the way just get on them and they will escort you to us." Meyiya and her parents each got on a horse and the horses kicked the ground twice then sped off to Aquariua. Meyiya who has never left the village before was astounded by the beauty of nature. About forty minutes later the horses came to a halt at a wooden gate that was part of a giant intricately carved and painted wooden fence. Meyiya stood in awe and she got of her horse and touched the beautiful fence astounded by its beauty. Just then the fence gate opened and two men stepped out along with the prince whom she had met earlier.
