A total of 25 students have entered a spelling contest. There are 6 medals for first through sixth place that will be awarded. In how many different ways can the medals be awarded?

Ohhh waittt Im actually wrong since each award will be different and is distinguishable First place is a special award .... then second place. So in fact order does matter and we would consider this a permutation and the formula goes as follows: \[\frac{n!}{(n-r)!}\] Where n is the total amt of students which is 25 and r is the max amt of students that will be awarded which is 6 in this case
