Need help!!! Describe your ideal wedding ceremony and reception. Explain your style.
What is this for?
Christian wedding
I'm more of a backwoods kinda feller, so I'd like a wedding that's outside in some wide open land with no real dress code for the guests. After the ceremony, maybe have a line of folks celebrate by shooting off a few rounds in the sky. Wouldn't wanna be joined by a minister / priest either, down South they call them "Preacher men."

Western tradition is generally contrary to the Bible is this respect, Leviticus chapter 5 and Matthew chapter 5 verses 33 to 37 expressly say one should not make vows, oaths, promises, ,,, . I made two basic vows in my life, on was a wedding vow, that I couldn't maintain and it taught me the future I don't control especially when it depends on other people. If your truly going to have a Christian marriage I would suggest one to honor and respect each other and to be together as God the Father would have it, generally said God willing. The vows I made were when I was young, 18 and 21, and it was a matter of tradition and I had no reality to what it meant to vow which scripturally is very very serious, that's one of the reason one doesn't. In fact it say's in Psalms God respects a man that keeps his vow to his own hurt, but I really don't think God wants you to be hurt therefore don't vow. Frankly I wouldn't have a religious ceremony until you can comprehend your specific religion, but just be and grow together being committed to one and other for as long as it last, remember you really can't control other people, specifically a spouse, who may decide to break an arrangement because of a situation.
