Alright so I thought long and vigorously about what you guys said about mods being busy and since I didn't view it that way because I'm usually always multitasking between helping people and my own personal. I thought of something while looking through a variety of other help sites. We can create an online bot with a question possibly asked programmed on the bot. This will ensure that the people who need help can get help instantly after the bot scans through the question.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

So you want the bot to answer questions?

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

That would be close to impossible.

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

P.S. @some.random.cool.kid I love your profile picture. Back to the topic now. There really isn't any real multitasking.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

@YanaSidlinskiy How could you?

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

How could I not?!

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Those are my nightmares. @some.random.cool.kid

OpenStudy (some.random.cool.kid):

Actually bots are very useful @confluxepic

OpenStudy (some.random.cool.kid):

I use bots all the time for a lot of things

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Bots cannot answer a question. Almost every question is different.

OpenStudy (some.random.cool.kid):

And thank you @yanasidlinskiy I chose it because teletubbies were cool when I was younger lol

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Can you be more specific? Are you trying to say that we should have bots that answer questions? Or that bots should scan a question to see if it is spam or not? Your words are unclear.

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

:)

OpenStudy (some.random.cool.kid):

Sorry internet crashed

OpenStudy (some.random.cool.kid):

What I was saying is that when you search on google the computer is canning the question then try's to search for the answer in its database

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Not all the answer are correct. Plus that would be considered a direct answer.

OpenStudy (some.random.cool.kid):

No no no still missed the point these will be set up directly by people who have studied the info and know it

OpenStudy (some.random.cool.kid):

Not by people who are randomly chosen

OpenStudy (some.random.cool.kid):

Honestly it does work it's possible for instance when you ask a question on Google the database scrambles through files and find a list of solutions related to your question

geerky42 (geerky42):

Sure, you can have bot scans similar words or something to detect good solution to post, but um... good luck with that... I can easily see how bot would accidentally post incorrect solution. Plus if you think bot can "help" them by search through Google, I am sure askers can just google solution for themselves too lol...

OpenStudy (some.random.cool.kid):

No it actually wouldn't it's going to be a very specific bot programmed specifically for open study the Google thing was just an example but this bot will be developed by mod logic...

geerky42 (geerky42):

Good luck execute such bot...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good thinking @some.random.cool.kid

pooja195 (pooja195):

^

OpenStudy (some.random.cool.kid):

Im considering starting a program that does that and will let the mod's take over the program so that they can enforce their knowledge so that the bot is programmed to answer question this will make it much easier for when people need help immediately

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just ask @ಠ_ಠ

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As @geerky42 said: Sure, you can have bot scans similar words or something to detect good solution to post, but um... good luck with that... eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Sorta like this post eh? http://openstudy.com/updates/553cd215e4b0b7638064978f

geerky42 (geerky42):

@some.random.cool.kid Just to be clear, your goal is to make bot that can help user like how other users do here, but immediately, right?

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

too much money from the small pool of money OS has

OpenStudy (some.random.cool.kid):

indeed @geerky42
