how do I know if a point is in the circle, outside the circle, or on the circle I will medal for best answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what exactly are you asking?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like for example, (x-5)squared + (y+3)squared=25 plug in the points (-2,4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you end up with 49+49=25, I understand if it were on the circle it would be equal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it is more than 25, in this case, would it be outside the circle? And if it is less, would it be in the circle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im not actually sure on this one sorry :(
