rational numbers. (1) fractions such as 1/2, 34/23, 100/101, 3/1 (last example is technically an integer (2) Integers .... -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, .....

This is the thing Natural numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 .... Whole numbers: same as natural numbers, but include 0. 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 .... Integers: same as whole numbers, but includes negative natural numbers. .... -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ..... Rational numbers: integers, and fractions: P/Q where P and Q can one of them or both or none, be a decimal, fraction, or integer.
