@dan815

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

Do you have any ideas? If not, I can explain ^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i dont know how to put them in the order i know that i have to cross multiply two at a time but i dont know how to do it with three

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like i have no idea how to do this one

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

Oh, you don't cross multiply here. You're ordering their values from least to greatest, so the fastest way to do that is change them into decimals. -5/7 is obviously the least amount, because it's less than 0. The decimal form of 2/9 = 0.22, and the decimal form of 3/5 = 0.6. With that information, what do you think the answer is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh um 0.22, 0.6, 0 right or the other way around

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@JackofallTradez

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

No, -5/7 = -0.71 You're ordering it least to greatest

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh so like this 0.6, 0.22, 0.71

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait 0.71, 0.22, 0.6 @JackofallTradez

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

No, it's -5/7, 2/9, and 3/5. The decimal form is -0.71, 0.22, and 0.6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks
