Will medal!!!! A candy bar box is in the shape of a triangular prism. The volume of the box is 3,240 cubic centimeters. Part A: What is the height of the box? Show your work. (5 points) Part B: What is the approximate amount of cardboard used to make this candy box? Explain how you got your answer. (5 points)
who cares I just want the chocolate inside LOL sorry can't help
-_-
Sure Sweetie
Do you want to find the height of the box using the volume formula or using right triangle math/pythagorean theorem?
i guess the first one
the regular prism has sides of 5 and 6 inches. those must be the rectangular base. you haven't given the height. the base area is 5 * 6 = 30 square inches. the volume of the prism is equal to 30 * h. the volume of a rectangular pyramid is equal to 1/3 * 30 * h. looks like you can make 3 pyramids that would equal the same height and base of the rectangular prism. this is because 3 * 1/3 * 30 * h is equal to 30 * h which is the volume of the rectangular prism.
Now Try this one by yourself :)
I feel like he just spoke another languange
