How do you find the mean, standard deviation, and variance of a data set?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@dan815 will you help me?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

For the mean, add all the values in the set and divide by the number of data points For example, 3,7,9,1,3 (3+7+9+1+3)/5=4.6

OpenStudy (aaronq):

for standard deviation use this formula https://www.mathsisfun.com/data/standard-deviation-formulas.html and variance is the square of the standard deviation.
