A manufacturer has 100 lb of wax with which to make candles. It takes 0.25 lb of wax to make a small candle and 0.5 lb of wax to make a large candle. The manufacturer wants to make at least 30 small candles and 20 large candles. The profit on a small candle is $3 and the profit on a large candle is $4.50. The manufacturer decides to make the number of small and large candles that will maximize the total profit. What is this amount of profit?
