ok there are several steps to finding the IQR 1. Find the median of the data... there are 12 pieces of data so the position is (12 +1)/2 = 6.5 the median is halfway between the 6th piece of data 43 and the 7th piece of data 47 median = (43 + 47)/2 median = 45 2. find the lower quartile and then the upper quartile of the data this part depends on where you are in the world... I'm in Australia and we don't include the median when finding the upper and lower quartiles... in the US I believe they do include it... so for the lower quartile the data points are |dw:1430339015655:dw| hope it helps... the final answer will depend o how the Median is managed do you include it or exclude it... hope it helps
