I really need some help with the wording of this problem.

Two utility vehicles at a 90 degree angle to each other try to pull a third vehicle out of the snow. If one utility vehicle exerts a force of 600 lb, and the other exerts a force of 800 lb, what is the resulting force on the vehicle stuck in the snow?

Would I use pythagorean theorem and fill in the forces as the legs?

just add the 600 and the 800 together and get 1400 pounds
