OpenStudy (texaschic101):

180 - (105 + 30) = 180 - 135 = 45

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ahh, beat me to it :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was thinking, two lines are parallel and these 2 are alternate angles, so if one angle is 75 degree, doesn't it mean that the other angle x + 30 = 75? so x = 75-30 = 45? Does that make sense?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

that does make sense...you are correct. I just did it a little bit different...got the same answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did u get 105?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

because I knew that 75 + that other angle = 180....giving me 105

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

and 105 + 30 + x = 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok thx u guys rock this makes much more sense

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

I know...I am weird...do it the way damneny said

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its the "weird" people in the end who turn out to be the best :>
