The Taming of the Shrew is a cute Romantic comedy play. If there were no comedic devices in this story, The Taming of the Shrew would just be romantic story with a unhappy ending. Nobody likes a romantic comedy that ends bad.

i am just having trouble creating a paper around this claim and needed a little help.. this is what my teacher said. "So you would pick some comedic devices such as foil, disguises, etc and illustrate how they further the plot of the play."
