the scale factor is the ratio of the 2 sides you know to be equivalent they are the 2 numbers you are given

Scale factor is the number you multiply the sides by in the first figure to get the second figure sides. So let's look at MNL. We have one side given which is 18. Now let's look at the other figure. THe side is 10.8 What do you multiply by 18 to get 10.8?
