If you were a US civilian living during World War II, which government action would have influenced your everyday life most? the reduction of labor laws for union workers the increased funding for the Space Race the emphasis on producing peacetime goods the rationing of materials to support the war effort

It definitely wasn't the reduction in labor laws for union workers and the Space Race didn't begin until many years after the end of WW2. During war, there also wasn't an emphasis on producing peacetime goods such as luxuries -- many car factories and other industries were retooled to build weapons such as tanks, planes, and ships. So the only answer that makes much sense would be the rationing of materials to support the war effort. Because it took a lot of materials to build the weapons needed, the ones considered important for the war effort were restricted from civilian use. There were efforts to have people donate things like aluminum and rubber which could be used for the war effort, for example. Even certain food items were in short supply because of rationing (the food to feed all of those soldiers had to come from somewhere).
