Just look it up on Google an answer mostly always comes up; but here is what I found. "The Battle of Appomattox Court House, fought on the morning of April 9, 1865, was one of the last battles of the American Civil War. It was the final engagement of Confederate Army general Robert E. Lee's Army of Northern Virginia before it surrendered to the Union Army under Lt. Gen. Ulysses S. Grant." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Appomattox_Court_House

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This was General Lee's last battle. where he then surrendered to General Ulysses S. Grant

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Gettysburg was in 1863. Appomattox was 1865

OpenStudy (anonymous):

U.S. Grant was NOT a part of the Battle of Gettysburg. It was between General Meade (US) and General Lee (CSA)
