Solve and graph the absolute value inequality: |2x + 4| > 8 Choices: http://prntscr.com/703d2w
subtract 4 by both sides then divide 2 by both sides
to leave the variable on the left side
x>2
Thanks, I'd just figured that out when you commented @Ineedhelpfast12
hahaha!
:p
However, don't you need x and y or something? Because there's no simple graphs that are just x > 2
y=x>2
So, I'm confused as to which graph that would be now.
my bad the X is absoulte value
you do not have to add the y
\[\left| x \right|>2\]
so if you count what 2 is smaller then
2 is smaller than 3 so X can equal 3
I'm still confused. I'm just redoing quizzes and I haven't done this unit since November so Would it be D? I don't know.
Yes D
but its kinda weird it doesnt look like the answer but D is the closeest
Thank you both so much ohmygosh.
tehe! no problemo
D was wrong. @matlee
Sorry , do you know the answer?
Not really, that was my only guess. I can redo the quiz but it's my last chance and I might get a different question than this one. I'm redoing all these old quizzes because i need to get my grade back up to an A before the rest of my finals.
I thought the answer was B
Ok if you need help you can tag me il double check my answers
Will do @matlee And you should've said something, lol @Ineedhelpfast12
whoopsie!
skipped my mind
it is the only answer that had to do with just greater than or less than. the other answers had to do with greater than or equal to and less than or equal to
