helen is helping plan a trip for three classes at her sons school. school rules say that classes on trips must have 1 adult for every 6 children. one class has 24 children, one has 26 children and the third has 28 children each class has 1 teacher. How many other adults are needed? I got 8 not sure if that is correct please help !

just add up all the children and divide by six and take away 3 because theres 1 teacher each class and theres 3 classes and then you will have the correct andswer

i did 18-20-22=24 and then 24 divided by 3 and i got 8
