OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

The Harry Potter Series is phenomenal. None of the other choices match how great HP is, in my opinion. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nah

OpenStudy (ineedhelpfast12):

All three are good in their own special way. Agreed?

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

All three are good in their own respective ways I agree with @Ineedhelpfast12

OpenStudy (ineedhelpfast12):

yipee kai doh!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Harry Potter definitely. I learned to read with Harry Potter. I begged my parents to send me to Hogwarts instead of kindergarten.

OpenStudy (ineedhelpfast12):

I would have done the same thing instead of going to elementary school, but my parents are anti magic and wizards and witches so even if they sent me a letter saying I was accepted, I wouldn't be able to go. :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Mortal Instrument, Hush Hush second out of these

OpenStudy (lunymoony):

Lord of the Rings

OpenStudy (ineedhelpfast12):

Never read the Lord of the Rings

OpenStudy (ineedhelpfast12):

by becca FitzPatrick right?

OpenStudy (lunymoony):

JRR Tolkien. It inspired Harry potter and such fantasies we read today, because before LotR there wasn't but mythology, tales, and history I believe.

OpenStudy (lunymoony):

A high recommend, along with The Hobbit. If you like complicated fantasy then I recommend Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Mmm, have you read Eragon Luny?

OpenStudy (ineedhelpfast12):

no. Do you know what the name of this book is? it is about a girl who is a Grim Reaper along with her uncle and the rest of the town. She dies in the last book, but her soul is still alive and she andd her boyfriend's souls find each other, which is unheard of

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No o.o It sounds really cool though..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Have you heard of The Morganville Vampires?

OpenStudy (ineedhelpfast12):

yes. but I have not read the series yet. maybe next summer. The name of the three books are Croak, Scorch, and Rogue by Gina Damico You should read them they are good.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll read those if you read the Morganville Vampires (:

OpenStudy (ineedhelpfast12):

sure!

OpenStudy (ineedhelpfast12):

can you find them online

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Most likely the first is called Glass Houses

OpenStudy (lunymoony):

I didnt, I usually like reads that make me think, and not make me just read, but Eragon is one series I wish I did read. But LotR inspired that too, in a major way minus the very linearity of the series.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I see, I just like aany book that can take me out of reality. Eragon is one of my favorite seires though, the detail is amazing. And if you like books that make you think have you read a tree grows in brrooklyn?

OpenStudy (lunymoony):

Nope. I'm the total opposite when it comes to books when compared with music, I'm extremely picky, sorry. Many classics I have read, including Charles wingspanens, currently reading Les Miserables, plenty of classical literature, Memory,Sorrow, and Thorn which George RR Martin gave credit to for Game of Thrones, Lord of the rings, the hobbit, etc etc ....for new I hear most things and I've read the Hunger Games, but if I'm bred on classical literature with an insane amount of words, huge words, words unsaid most of these days, then I can't bare much of the new stuff I believe. Game of Thrones they say is a heavy read, I'll probably end up reading that.

OpenStudy (lunymoony):

Plus, if it ends up being good, and doubt most won't, when I read Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn, I couldn't do anything for a week, literally, can ask the family and they'll say I just walked around in circles.

OpenStudy (lunymoony):

But I love to read, I'll read anything anyone recommends to me, I just can't promise I'll end up loving it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha, that sounds intense. But a tree grows in brooklyn is about a broke family in the 20's i believe, if you have a heart you'll cry. And I enjoy tough reads if I have the time and can follow along enough, some things I can't do though.

OpenStudy (lunymoony):

Alright, I'll add that on the top of my must read list. Ive read books like those, true stories, so if it doesn't seem fake to you then I'll enjoy it I believe.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It seemed so legit I spent a week trying to google if it was real, I'm 99% sure it was fiction though, I think she just added real life experiences or encounters to inspire her

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haven't read the others, but harry potter and mortal instruments are two of my favorite series however, harry potter is always number one for me! mortal instruments is really good as well i also enjoyed the other spinoff series, the infernal devices… love both of these series! different, but so amazing!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I get too upset that the infernal devices isn't Clary and them.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yes, the original gang is great, but tessa, will, and jem will become new favorite characters for you, too!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Meh, I dunno, maybe one day I'll try them. Has anyone heard of the Mythos Academy series?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Those were pretty cool books too. (:

OpenStudy (ineedhelpfast12):

I don't like the Infernal Devices

OpenStudy (shelby1290):

Although, I haven't read any of the books that you just listed lol.....I'd have to say the Harry Potter series because the story line was said to be amazingly intriguing (making the series fly off the shelves) and the movies were #1 in the box office.

OpenStudy (ineedhelpfast12):

Wise choice @shelby1290

OpenStudy (shelby1290):

@Ineedhelpfast12 haha thank you, what's your choice?

OpenStudy (ineedhelpfast12):

All of them, but Harry Potter and Micheal Vey are tied

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Harry Potter, bruh. I thought Michael Vey was too predicable.

OpenStudy (ineedhelpfast12):

@allybakescakes So can you predict the next 2 or 3 books' endings then?
