Have you read the Fallen series? Fans of Hush, Hush usually love that too.
Other than that, I really enjoy murder-mystery books. I'm currently reading one called Criminal - it's kind of boring to begin with, but I'm hoping it gets better.

Also, I read a book called "Wish You Were Dead" in like 5th grade. It was a higher level reading than 5th graders should have been on (I've been able to read, write, and comprehend at a college level since 3rd grade) but it was pretty good.
