Hi. First of all you should know that Ambassadors are more than just users with an \(\color{#872AF0}{Ⓐ}\) next to their username. Ambassadors are users who makes new users feel welcomed by welcoming them to OpenStudy, and showing them how to use the site. They are OpenStudy role models, and helpers. Ambassadors help run the OpenStudy social sites, like the OpenStudy Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Wattpad, and SnapChat.
I can do that
Understood? :) Yes, now there is some requirements. You can't just apply and wish to make it :) Let me list the requirements
Ok
You \(\tt \color{#2dabea}{must}\): \(\color{#872AF0}{Ⓐ}\) Be \(\tt \color{#2dabea}{13+}\) in age \(\color{#872AF0}{Ⓐ}\) Have no \(\tt \color{#2dabea}{major~ ~warnings/suspensions}\) in your past \(\color{#872AF0}{Ⓐ}\) Clearly understand and follow the \(\tt \color{#2dabea}{Coc~~and~~TaC}\) \(\color{#872AF0}{Ⓐ}\) Have an \(\tt \color{#2dabea}{ID}\), such as a driver's license, Military ID, or anything stating your birth \(\color{white}{~~~~~~~~~~~~}\) date, name, and a picture of you. (ask a moderator for more options) This ID is to prove you are 13 or older. \(\color{#872AF0}{Ⓐ}\) Have/Make a facebook and twitter to support OpenStudy
There is some things though that I want you to know before applying if you are thinking about it. \(\color{#872AF0}{Ⓐ}\) You must have a \(\tt \color{#2dabea}{positive}\) attitude to \(\tt \color{#2dabea}{everyone}\) \(\color{#872AF0}{Ⓐ}\) You need to \(\tt \color{#2dabea}{respect}\) the site, and don't talk faulty about OpenStudy \(\color{#872AF0}{Ⓐ}\) You should \(\tt \color{#2dabea}{appreciate}\) other users work \(\color{#872AF0}{Ⓐ}\) You will go through a \(\tt \color{#2dabea}{one-month~~training}\) if you are accepted. \(\color{#872AF0}{Ⓐ}\) You are going to accept @e.mccormick as your evil overlord \(\color{#872AF0}{Ⓐ}\) You must \(\tt \color{#2dabea}{inform~~ others}\) about the rules - to help keep the site \(\tt \color{#2dabea}{wonderful}\) \(\color{#872AF0}{Ⓐ}\) You must \(\tt \color{#2dabea}{welcome}\) new users, informing them of the \(\tt \color{#2dabea}{CoC~~ and ~~TaC}\)
Any questions? :)
The I.D. I don't have one of those
I believe you have to have a certain amount of days studied on OS too. I am not sure about that, and as said. You can ask @e.mccormick, @thomaster, @shrutipande9, @Ashleyisakitty or @hartnn for more choices than those forms of ID's
What is the typical age of other ambassadors?
I am not sure the ages of other ambassadors, but most of them and 13-18
Alternate IDs include official school documents that prove grade. Pretty much everyone in 8th+ is 13 or more. The goal is to have reasonable evidence to show that you are not under 13... since that is a $16,000 COPPA violation.
I'm in ninth grade. I go to Laurel Springs School and I'm 14. My birthday was July 5th, 2000
@e.mccormick
Well, they just need enough proof of that. The proof goes to the admins, not me. I just reach the ambis how to do what is needed and give them some direction.
Ok I'll think of something
