can u solve this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\begin{cases}\dfrac{m}{x}+\dfrac{n}{y}=a\\\\ \dfrac{n}{x}+\dfrac{m}{y}=b\end{cases}\] You can solve either equation for either \(x\) or \(y\). For example, from the first equation you could get \[\frac{n}{y}=a-\frac{m}{x}~~\implies~~y=\frac{n}{a-\dfrac{m}{x}}=\frac{nx}{ax-m}\](Immediately, you know that \(x\neq\dfrac{m}{a}\).) You could then substitute this into the second equation to solve for \(x\), etc
