Need help with a hook for my essay:
Should college athletes be paid to play?
My claim: college athletes should not be paid to play because they are a student like many others learning their profession.

My counter-claim: College athletes should be paid to play because when they are professionals, the athletes are not only representing their future team but the college they went to, to improve their career; Colleges would be proud to say, “This athlete went to my college!”

College Athletes should not be paid to play because they are a student like many others learning their profession but when athletes become pros they are representing the college they went to , to improve their career…paying athletes to come to a certain college motivates people to go to the same school to get the same training.
