Calculate the number of unique search methods that can be created.

besides reading all the irrelevant critera, i think you are being asked to compute the number of ways to choose 5 items from a set of 10 called "ten choose five" and written as
\[\binom{10}{5}\] or\[_{10}C_5\]or even \[^{10}C_5\]

When I use the calculator you provided it gives me answer I am not studying. I don't recognize the formulas they use.
