Solve the inequality: -7x + 4 ≤ 32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can just treat it like a regular equation. the only thing that changes when you are working with a inequality is that dividing by a negative switches the inequality to the opposite.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what do you think the first step is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i honestly don't know lol can you help me out @Austin6i6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes so the first step is to subtract four from both sides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do i subtract from them @Austin6i6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtact 4 from both sides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

& then? @Austin6i6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then divide by -7 but since it is negative you must change the equality from \[\le TO \ge\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i subtract 4 from -7, 4 or 32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Austin6i6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im on a highschool computer and it doesnt give me access to the video @Austin6i6

OpenStudy (domebotnos):

so first you have to solve for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I DONT KNOW HOW
