Leila's Coffee Shop makes a blend that is a mixture of two types of coffee. Type A coffee costs Leila $4.30 per pound, and type B coffee costs $5.45 per pound. This month, Leila made 112 pounds of the blend, for a total cost of $551.75 . How many pounds of type A coffee did she use?
Any options or an essay question?
No just the question I posted.
oh ok
I'm not good with world questions, I don't even know how to arrange the problem to do it. Even if you can explain that too me that would be great!
So I did 4.30 x 26.1, but I ended up with 112. 23
Where did the 26.1 come from?
Because, well I was fooling around with the calculator. I forget how I ended up there, but I did 4.30 x 26 and it equaled 111.8 So then I decided to do 26.1
Can you like explain it in steps? I don't quite understand.
You see I was fooling around with the calculator and did 112 / 4.30 ( = 26. 04651162790698 ) So then I decided to do 4.30 x 26 that added up to 111. 8, which is close to 112, so I decided to do 4.30 x 26.1
So then what is the answer?
Idk
my closest is 26.1
Alright thank you very much for the help!
