@dan815

OpenStudy (mrnood):

multiply the 2nd equation by 2 add that new equation to the first that will give you an equation in y which will give you your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do u mean ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@MrNood

OpenStudy (133):

Dose this help??

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

no. that does not help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my options are -4 -2 2 5

Nnesha (nnesha):

3 or 4 ways to find solution of 2 equation substitution elimination graphing matrices which one is easy for you ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

elimination

Nnesha (nnesha):

okay in order to eliminate one variable it should have same coefficient

Nnesha (nnesha):

|dw:1430594713215:dw| so that's why Mrnood said to multiply 2nd equation by 2 then you would get same coefficient with opposite signs
