Set each equal to one another and solve for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

60x+40=50x +80

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so subtract 40 on both sides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u woul be left with 60x=50x +40 then subtract 50x on both sides so u would be left with 10x=40

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then u would divide both sides with 10x so x=4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so C or D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i would go with C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You would substitue 4 for x in each equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does that makes sense ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

anything else ?
