A triangle with vertices at (0, 4), (3, 5), and (2,-1) is rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise about the origin. what are the vertices of the image? A. (4, 0), (5,3), and (1,2) B. (-4, 0), (-5, 3), and (1, 2) c. (0, 4), (-3, -5), and (-2, 1) D. (0, -4), (-3, -5), and (-2, 1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lets say you have (x,y) after you rotate it 90 degrees counterclockwise it would be (-y,x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so u flip x and y which means you're left with a or b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and because the y value turns negative u would be left with B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does that make sense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anything else u need help with ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
