Is there any risk from meteor showers, comets, or eclipses?

comets never touch earth, if they do they are then called meteorites. meteor showers are called meteor for a reason because they never pass the atmosphere because they just burn up (but if they do as i said that are then called meteorites). But an eclipses is completely harmless unless you stare at it, basically the same thing as looking at the sun.
