Hi! Plz help!!
Which describes the requirements for making an electromagnet? A. A battery, a length of wire, and an iron nail must be connected in a closed parallel circuit. In addition, the wire must be coiled around the body of the nail. B. A battery, a length of wire, and an iron nail must be connected in an open series circuit. In addition, the wire must be coiled around the body of the battery. C. A battery, a length of wire, and an iron nail must be connected in an open parallel circuit. In addition, the wire must be coiled around the body of the battery. D. A battery, a length of wire, and an iron nail must be connected in a closed series circuit. In addition, the wire must be coiled around the body of the nail.

Any Ideas ?
I'm not really sure, maybe D?
@Awolflover1?
Im still here im trying to read ^.^
Oh okay :)
What is the difference between arrangement in (a) and arrangement in (d) ?
A is parallel and D is series
Oh never mind! I got the answer. It's D
Thank you everyone
I thought D is Correct ^.^
Wait.. no it really doesn't make much sense If I have a bulb and connect it across the battery... is the bulb in series with the battery or parallel? Its both Cause the bulb gets the same voltage as the battery and since it is only one component it gets the same current as the battery.. Series parallel would only make sense if there are more than just 2 components in a given electrical network!
