Which of the following is NOT one of the guiding philosophies of Communism? a) Socialism b) Hegelianism c) Theism d) Atheism

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C) theism. communists want to create a society with only one common idea between the people. they do not want anyone to be unique.

OpenStudy (kenljw):

It depends on your Theism, if you read the Acts of Apostles you'll find the guiding economic principle of the commune created by Peter and the rest of the Apostles. In it you'll find the express "to each according to their ability" which actually in accordance to both communism and capitalism except communism doesn't proffer competition as much as capitalism. Also those in a communistic society are supposed to have other values other than money for incentive and engenders cooperation. Truthfully there has never been a true communist country on this planet because people are to selfish and egocentric in their outlook which is better used by capitalist.
