i'm going to guess that this is a rectangular prism because if it was a cube, it would state cube. the formula for finding surface area of a rectangular prism is 2(w*l + h*l + h*w). we know height (h) is 5 mm. two ends of the prism are usually squares. if we take the perimeter and subtract 10mm (pair of 5 mm sides), you are left with 12 mm.then u divide 12 by 2 which gives u 6
@israa88 I did this problem recently and found that it didn't matter what the base was (rectangular or trianglular) the important thing was to find the correct base area and perimeter.
