Explain the meaning of this quote:
We are told to let our light shine, and if it does, we won't need to tell anybody it does. Lighthouses don't fire cannons to call attention to their shining - they just shine.

We are told to express ourselfs and It is better to not say anything to anyone. Lighthouses (us) don't make a big deal about expressing themselves or about something important, they just do it on their own without anyone knowing. I hope this helps, I'm not very good at that tho. Sorry
