Two particles move in the xy-plane: Particke A moves along the graph of y=1+e^-x and particle B moves along the graph y=cosx for 0<=x<=3pi. At all times their x-coordinates are the same. How can I show the particles never collide, and show what the minimum and maximum vertical distances are between the particles?
