Discuss the organic food market and its impact on a healthy lifestyle.
@TheSmartOne
Why can't you discuss it? I don't understand what is so difficult about this. You are basically asking us to do your work for you. Am i wrong?
I suggest you do a little research. You might want to look into reading Monsanto as well. You could find a lot of articles on them as well as use them to cite as references.
Genetically modified foods are not natural. Organic food is fresher, better for the body, and taste better. But Organic food can be expensive. McDonalds have GMOS so their food is cheap. Chipotle has 0 GMOS but is more expensive. Most Genetically modified foods are bigger than usual, or have different than the natural version. They give hormones to chickens, so they can be bigger, and get more meat. But It can make them very sick and unhealthy. They are often crammed with other chickens in one space, and feed corn and chicken scraps with GMOS. A few documentaries can give you further information about GMOS that are used on animals, and produce.
I didn't know this was a group assignment.
Well, is information is wrong anyway. Also GMO is not the same thing as non-organic. I always laugh my @$$ off when people claim that our body can detect that a certain gene has been altered. Not to mention the fact that viruses are infecting and doing exactly what humans are doing to many foods.
