FAN AND MEDAL!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you looking for the answer or how to do the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i thought x was 12/11 or 1.09 but thats not it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im looking for the answer and how to solve it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lets narrow down the choices what answers do you know are definetly not correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To find x all you need to do is add the two angles that are given and set it equal to 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh ok @jrain35

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but i know the othe two sides are the same as the other ones @jrain35

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes but youre just trying to find the value of x right now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

have you figured out what x is yet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

X=31

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok now we need to find y, both equations that involve y are equal lengths so all we need to do is set them equal to each other, so y+8=5y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y is 2 because that is the only answer where x is 31 ........lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that too haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but thanks so much !!!!!!
