When a user tags another user it should only affect the SmartScore of the user that gets tagged but not the user that tags. That way mass taggers will only help other people’s SmartScore but not their own. It would be an effective way to discourage mass taggers from mass tagging.

Anyone agree? Any feedback?

And yes some user’s only mass tag because they want help from people but I’m talking about the mass taggers that want to increase their own SmartScore.

Eh, I didn't know that tagging someone increases your SmartScore.

I guess we could change that, but tagging someone only increases it by a tiny bit, correct?

Doesn't need to, maybe they can leave what's happened in the past, and just change what happens in the future.

most of the time I thought it was because they need a lot of people's attention for something

Exactly, I don't either..I've never seen anyone do it..most people don't even know it increases their SS.

I've actually seen users do mass tagging on purpose, such as the music and writing section, and I ask why I keep on getting tagged and the reply is "oh for my smartscore"... xD

Some don't know either, but they tag 30+ users (basically all that are online on one section).

this is a bit of a problem considering last week so random guy was tagging 20+ people in his questions, and of them was me! ugh...he asked so many and it got annoying seeing @Shifuyanli over and over again
