im new on here i need help getting started

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\large\bigstar\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\large\bigstar\)\(\large\color{purple}{LaTeX~Style!}\)\(\large\bigstar\)

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

it seems like you have the basics of it down. what do you need help on?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

most of every thing

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

for a moment i thought you were asking how to use os or getting started on it. Then i realized what section we were in XD. Just a second and I'll try to help you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

ok so you start every code with `\(\` and end with `\)\` after you get the starting `\(\` you can choose the size of text. The sizes are Huge Large large normalsize small tiny I'll use large to begin with

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\large\bigstar\)\ kk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:3

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

so `\(\large\` next we can choose a font style. The ones I can remember are cal tt bf it frak @Jaynator495 can tell me if I missed some of them.

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

I'll use tt for showing you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

so we have `\(\large\tt\` add the word color if you want to add some color to your words. I use this website. http://www.color-hex.com/ I'm going to use #f9bec7 `\(\large\tt\color{#f9bec7}` when you enter in the color code, enclose it with brackets {} if you use a code, you need a # sign.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

srry computer is acting up

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

thats ok

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

then you can add your text. `\(\large\tt\color{#f9bec7}{Test~text}\)` to put the text in, just put another bracket { then type your text and then a closing bracket }. then you just put your ending }\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\large\tt\color{6e66b6}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i messed up on somthing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ya

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

you need to add the # sign in front of your color code. and then you can add some words for example: `\(\large\tt\color{#6e66b6}{Testing~text}\)`

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\large\tt\color{#6e66b6}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dang it

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

you have it right so far. Now you can add some words. add another { and type whatever you want in. use ~ for spaces.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\large\tt\color{#6e66b6}{lol}

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

remember the final \) after }

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dang it

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

\(\large\tt\color{#6e66b6}{lol}\) `\(\large\tt\color{#6e66b6}{lol}\)`

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\large\tt\color{#6e66b6}{lol}\)

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Yayy!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can i do rain bow color?

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Ya, you just have to use more colour codes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

kind of like this. `\(\large\tt\color{red}{\bigstar \color{orangle}{\bigstar \color{darkgoldenrod}{\bigstar \color{green}{\bigstar \color{blue}{\bigstar \color{purple}{\bigstar}}}}}}\)` \(\large\tt\color{red}{\bigstar \color{orangle}{\bigstar \color{darkgoldenrod}{\bigstar \color{green}{\bigstar \color{blue}{\bigstar \color{purple}{\bigstar}}}}}}\) for every color code you add, you need to put another } at the end.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok thx for da help

OpenStudy (k_lynn):
