Name at least three characters in Frankenstein who exhibit despondency, and give a specific example of a scene or event in the story where you see this happen.
First, tell everyone what despondency is.
Victor, the creature, Elizabeth
What are some examples I don't understand what this question is asking because most of the character fit this question but there isn't any specific answers that pop out to me
Yes, you're right. There are many characters that fit this "despondency." The question asks for "at least" three characters. This implies that there are several characters from which to choose. With Victor and the creature there are any numbers of instances in the story where they have become depressed and felt worthless. It shouldn't be too hard to review the text (or your memory) to identify some. For Elizabeth, there are certainly a couple (death of her mother for one, Victor leaving again...). Perhaps Justine would be easier to find since she was unjustly accused of killing young William. Maybe even Henry due to his poor relationship with his father. You could likely pick just about any character at some point in this novel who shows despondency.
Thank you this really helped
